The Forbidden Memory

The Forbidden Memory confronts desire and loss through the symbolic presence of the apple — a timeless emblem of temptation, innocence, and consequence. With her eyes closed, the figure seems to exist between surrender and awakening, as if suspended in the instant before knowledge transforms the self.

The weathered surface, rich in muted pinks and earthy tones, speaks of forgotten stories and lingering guilt. The artist intertwines fragility and strength, questioning how history and myth continue to shape our sense of purity, shame, and redemption.
